Toni Frissell was an American photographer renowned for her fashion photography and portraits of notable Americans, Europeans, children, and women. What set her apart from many of her contemporaries was her preference for shooting outdoors on location, rather than in a studio. This approach resulted in her signature style of spontaneous, dynamic action shots.
